Stuart McMillan MSP SNP and Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Recreational Boating and Marine Tourism has added his name in support of Scottish Tourism Week which takes place from 3rd March 2015.
The annual Scottish Tourism Week national conference is organised by the Scottish Tourism Alliance. Over 500 decision makers from hotels, restaurants, visitor attractions, tour operators, transport operators, banks, local authorities and key public agencies attended the conference in 2014 to network and discover the latest in the world of tourism from influential speakers.
Mr McMillan said:
“I am delighted to, once again, add my name in support of the upcoming Scottish Tourism Week as the industry is of vital importance to Scotland, in-terms of economic growth and employment opportunities. Also, 2015 is The Year of Food and Drink for Scotland.
“As we are fully aware, Scotland has a tremendous amount to offer, including our sailing and marine tourism industry. Therefore, I would encourage people to learn more about Scottish Tourism Week and get involved in the different events that are taking place throughout Scotland.”
