Inverclyde SNP candidate Ronnie Cowan was accompanied by local MSP Stuart McMillan at a visit to Mecca Bingo in Greenock.
Both politicians were on hand to help with the calling of numbers during a busy evening at the Greenock club and to learn more about the organisations activity at the heart of communities across Scotland, including Greenock.
Speaking afterwards Inverclyde SNP candidate Ronnie Cowan said;
“I was heartened to see how social an activity this is. It was far more than bingo. It was friends meeting and interacting, along with genuinely warm staff that know so many of the regulars. “
Mr McMillan added;
“I was delighted to visit the local Bingo club here in Greenock and speak to the large number of people who frequent the club.
“Bingo is a popular pastime for a lot of people throughout the country and this visit was an excellent opportunity to speak to those individuals and learn more about the organisation.”
