McMillan Congratulates Headteacher of the Year

Stuart McMillan MSP (SNP) has congratulated Mairi McFarlane, from King’s Oak Primary School in Inverclyde, on being named Headteacher of the Year at the Scottish Education Awards 2015.

On learning the news, Mr McMillan has lodged a motion for support in the Scottish Parliament congratulating Mairi on her success.

Mr McMillan said;

“I am delighted to learn that Mairi McFarlane has been named Headteacher of the Year at the Scottish Education Awards 2015.

“This is a great achievement for Mairi, her school and Inverclyde as a whole.

“Therefore, I have lodged a motion for support in the Scottish Parliament to recognise Mairi’s achievement and to highlight this to all my colleagues.”
