SNP MSP Stuart McMillan has today welcomed the announcement by the Deputy First Minister John Swinney that the new Greenock Health and Care Centre has been given the green light thanks to funding from the Scottish Government.
The facility will be funded as part of the Scottish Government’s £409 million investment in the non-profit distributing (NPD) programme.
Welcoming the announcement the Greenock based MSP said:
“I am delighted that the new Greenock Health and Care Centre has been given the go ahead.
“The new health centre will improve vital primary care services in Greenock, giving people in the area access to the highest quality healthcare facilities.
“This announcement is a further example of this SNP Governments commitment to strong public services and also to improving the lives of the people of Inverclyde.
