Stuart McMillan MSP’s Pipeathon 2017 auction hosted by McTears Auctioneers is now live and accepting bids.
The Greenock and Inverclyde MSP, who is also Holyrood’s ‘Parliamentary Piper’, piped at all 42 senior Scottish football clubs over the course of five days this summer.
Numerous clubs donated signed strips – along with some other exclusive items, including match day tickets and one club’s very own gin – for auction. The money raised will be divided between Andy Adams Fund, Clyde Cash for Kids and Clydeside Action on Asbestos.
Commenting, Mr McMillan said:
“Lots of different organisations, businesses and individuals came together and supported me through this summer’s Pipeathon event which ultimately made it such a success, and I’m honoured to have been given the opportunity to help these worthy charities as part of the Pipeathon 2017.
“The online auction hosted by McTears is the second and final part of the Pipeathon 2017 and I urge as many MSPs as possible to participate.
“Not only will you be assisting these three charities, but you’ll also be in with a chance of picking up something special from your favourite football team.”
MSPs can take a look at the items on offer at Stuart’s parliamentary office all this week. The online auction will be hosted by McTears Auctioneers and can be found here.
