Pipeathon 2017 Hands Over £5800 to 3 Good Causes

Stuart McMillan MSP has celebrated the final tally of his Pipeathon charity fundraiser which saw him travel the length and breadth of Scotland fundraising for three very worthwhile charities.

Stuart played the pipes at 42 football grounds from Cappielow to Hampden, in a gruelling cross-country dash last summer.

The MSP raised a total of £5,800, divided between the Andy Adams Fund, Clydeside Action on Asbestos and Cash for Kids.

Stuart said: “Pipeathon 2017 was a great adventure, and I’m delighted to have been able to raise so much for three causes close to my heart.

“Playing the pipes is a hobby of mine and I’ve always wanted to put it to good use. I’m delighted that these charities have received their share of the generous donations.”
